Well, i have a truck load of gorgeous photos that i just couldn’t cut down – so i’ve posted them all for you to see!
Magnus is now 6 months old and doing great! His latest tricks are:
- He can sit on his own (for short periods before toppling over!)
- He’s trying so hard to crawl…but isn’t quite there – he can get right up on his feet with his legs and hips in the air with his upper body on the ground. And then he can push his upper body right up with his hands on the ground – but he can’t put the 2 together. So for now there’s lots of swimming without gaining much ground!
- He can move around 360 degrees to turn to reach toys and look around etc
- He can squeal VERY loud…in excitement most of the time. But occasionally it’s just loud screaming in protest to getting dressed!
I have started back at work 3 days a week and Magnus is now enjoying 2 full days with Daddy and one day with Granny and Grandfather. The change hasn’t phased him at all and he is happy as, except for he misses his Mum loads…or is it just Mum missing Magnus!!!
We’ve had a family trip to the zoo – we’re not sure how many animals Magnus could see, but we know he could see the giraffes for sure! (see photos)
We took Magnus swimming for the first time to celebrate his half birthday! It was loads of fun and Magnus is a natural – his little legs were in the frog position kicking like mad. He got dunked under a few times and that didn’t phase him at all – he’s had lots of practice with Dad pouring water over his head in the bath. So i think there will be many more trips to the pool in the weeks to come and by the time summer rolls around he’ll be ready to swim in the ocean… we can’t wait!!!
Our family home is nearing completion of the major rennovations we have had going on for the past 4 months. I’ve included a couple of shots of the front and back of the house. Will put some of the inside up once it’s all finished and we’ve dusted off the 10million layers of dust that is all over the furniture!
